The Interafrican Conference of Insurance Markets received 6 years ago from His Excellency the President of the Republic and the Gabonese people in the form of donation, a land with an area of 2,482 square meters. This gift he made the use you have before you. The CIMA has made the “talent” received and has set the heart of Libreville at the heart of this beautiful building that we are inaugurating today and of which we can all be proud.

I take this opportunity to join the voices of the entire insurance industry in expressing our gratitude and gratitude to His Excellency the President of the Gabonese Republic; Head of State and the Gabonese people, without whom the realization of this beautiful project would not have been possible.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests,

The General Secretariat of CIMA is now endowed with a valuable working tool, more modern and more functional. A seat equal to the ambitions and objectives that the member countries had set for themselves at the signing of the Treaty establishing an integrated organization of the insurance industry in their respective states.

Through this new community project, a living expression of ongoing sub-regional cooperation, the CIMA member states reaffirm their total commitment to work to strengthen the institutions of the Conference and the development of the insurance sector.

In view of the sacrifices made by all the stakeholders, I make the promise on behalf of the General Secretariat, to make good use of the book, to manage it as a “good father”, to maintain it in a sustainable way and to to make the most of it to fulfill the missions assigned to us by the Member States.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests,

I can not close my remarks without renewing you to all, my wishes for a pleasant stay in Gabon and a good return to your respective countries.

Thank you.
